Jumping to Amman

Today I left Beirut around 6 am to fly to Amman. As a nice surprise I could ship my bicycle for free and arrived after a good hour in the air by around 9am in Amman.

I reassembled my bike at the airport and cycled approx 40 km to the city center of Amman where I booked an Airbnb. Amman is very cold today, for tomorrow potentially even snow and hopefully on Tuesday some sun again. Initially I planned to stay for one or two days in Amman to meet some colleagues. However, unfortunately no one is currently in town, why I potentially continue my trip tomorrow to Jerash, Tuesday to Umm Qais near Yarmouk river from where I will cycle southwards along the Jordan river valley. It seems that I might will meet some Jordanian colleague in As Salt on Thursday.
