As one objective of my trip was to travel along Jordan river as much as I can, I wanted to visit the river once more before it flows into the Dead Sea. However, entire Jordan river lies within a military security zone of several kilometers and the only place where you can see Jordan river is the place where Jesus got babtised something like 2000 years ago. So, I decided to ride to that place. But when I reached the check point at the entrance to the site, I also met a myriad of American (and other nationalities of course) Chrtistian fundamentalistst what was so repelling that I turned my bicycle around and continued directly to the Dead Sea where I stay overnight.
